This tutorial will help you in rooting the all time favourite Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge+ running on Android Nougat 7.0 firmware. These steps are written in simple language which can be followed by any layman, so please sit back and enjoy the ride.
Please note that this method is compatible on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925F, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925K, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925L, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925P (Sprint), Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925S, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925V (Verizon), Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925W8 (Canada), Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SC-04G DoCoMo, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus SM-G9287C, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus SM-G928C, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus SM-G928F, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus SM-G928K, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus SM-G928L, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus SM-G928P (Sprint), Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE Plus SM-G928S and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus running on Android Nougat 7.0 firmware only.
Make sure that you have backed up your Galaxy S6's phone memory before proceeding with any of the steps below.
Steps to root Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus running on Android Nougat 7.0 firmware using the CF-Auto-Root
1. To start with please download the correct root file from the below given link;

Once downloaded please extract it to your PC desktop. The below screenshot gives you an idea about the contents.

2. In order to proceed with the next step, you need to enable the "USB debugging" on your Galaxy S6 Egde/Edge+. To enable USB debuggiing please go to "Settings-> Developer options"and enable the "USB debugging" from the "Developer options" menu. If there is no developer options under the "Settings" menu please tap on the "build number" 7 times under "About device"

3. Now please enable "OEM unlock". Please check the below article for detailed steps to enable OEM unlock.

4. After "OEM Unlock" is enabled, please switch your phone off and enter it into the "Download mode". To enter "Download Mode" please press and hold the "Power"+"Vol Down"+"Home" buttons until you get a warning screen. Once you get the warning screen please release all the buttons and press "Vol Up" button to enter into the "Download mode".

5. In the next step you need to open the "Odin" application with admin privileges and need to connect your S6 Edge/Edge+ using the USB data cable to your computer. You will get an "Added" message from "Odin" application if the connection was successful. If the connection was unsuccessful please reinstall the Samsung USB drivers for your device and try again.

6. Next please click click the "PDA/AP" button in the Odin application and select the "tar.md5" file which you have already downloaded and extracted to your computer desktop before.
Now this is the last and the final step where you need to click the "Start" button and you are good to go. Once the rooting is finished your device will reboot and you will get a "Pass" message from the Odin software.
